You've got pollen on your nose. Where've you been?

Remember her hair in the morning before it was pinned, black, rampant, savage with loveliness. As if she slept in perpetual storm.

Beyoncé is a remarkable singer, artist, dancer, artistic visionary, Black woman, feminist (I’d say womanist, really), wife, mother, human being. I write this sentence and like…I can hear the haters (that I call miserys; the opposites of stans) screaming their heads off and thinking of horrible…

Hey kid. You’re at an age where I’m pretty sure you’re about to have sex soon, or actually, you might even already be having it and you’re just *that* good at keeping it from me. I don’t really fret over that because I trust you. And because I trust myself and the job I’ve done as your…

For those who believe in God, most of the big questions are answered. But for those of us who can’t readily accept the God formula, the big answers don’t remain stone-written. We adjust to new conditions and discoveries. We are pliable. Love need not be a command nor faith a dictum. I am my own god. We are here to unlearn the teachings of the church, state, and our educational system. We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us.

Iconic characters of Haruki Murakami

The series was developed for my woodcut class at college. My intention was to do something related with his characters, since the fact I frequently draw some of them that were very remarkable to me. Also, I thought the contrast of the B&W would help to emphasize the loneliness and the mysterious atmosphere of his stories.

The first one is The boy named Crow, from Kafka on the shore and the second one is The Sheep-Man, from Wild sheep chase and Dance, dance, dance.

The third one, the mysterious woman, a present type in some of his novels, such as the woman with perfect ears, from Wild sheep chase and Dance, dance, dance, or the phone woman, from Wind-up bird chronicle. More over, there is the dark places, also present in these three novels.

The fourth is the cats. I think I don’t need to say anything else about haha

The last one, and not less important, the The wind-up bird. I decided to use a white background not as something positive, but to emphasize the melancholy of his singing (with the falling musical notes).

I think you’re misunderstanding the perceived problem, Mr. President. No one is saying that you broke any laws. We’re just saying it’s a little bit weird that you didn’t have to.
